… this grace in which I stand …

That would be me – Shanda Conger.

I happen to think that sharing the journey is one of the things that makes it significant; so here I am… sharing.

For the last few years I’ve been paying my bills by making lattes at the BUX (commonly referred to as Starbucks).   I love it because I love people and community and it’s an awesome place for both!  I also kinda really really like to drink coffee so it’s pretty nice that I have a nearly unlimited supply of it for free!

I am passionate about God, Jesus, the Bible, and the church… but I’m not into religion.  I am confident that we were created for relationships and that the best relationship any of us can have is with our Creator!  – - It’s a beautiful thing!

My goal in life is to follow Jesus… to love him so fully, cherish him so truly, and give my life for him so honestly… that others can’t help but to come along.

I mess up a lot.  There are far too many gaps between what I claim to believe and how I lived my life today… but please know that I believe it… more everyday… and I PRAY that God will, more and more, fill those gaps as I walk with Him and am filled with His Spirit.  Less of me.  Die to myself.  Live for His glory.

I have a year left of Seminary (No, I’m not a nun nor will I ever be one!  Just someone who wants to study God’s Word and how to live it!) and after that… Only God knows for sure!  I’m excited about life.  It’s always an adventure… Especially once you decide to follow Jesus.

I love to read, write, people watch, and talk to friends and strangers.  I love my family… I’m probably the proudest big sister you’ll ever meet.  My favorite ice cream is mint-n-chip or vanilla with hot fudge… mmm!  I love Mexican food!  If you become my friend, you’ll be stuck with me for life.  Some people say I’m weird… I think I’m interesting and hilarious.

That’s really more than you need to know………. but I guess it’s ME!
